The Village
Plans are now underway for development of 86 acres of land owned by the
corporation along the I-35 corridor in a single-campus approach we refer
to as "The Village." Major components of the village include a multi-use/family
life facility, an assisted living facility, mixed-type housing, a sports
& health complex, an administrative building, a conference facility, a
hotel and a worship center for relocation of the Northeast Church of Christ.
The 2004 initial effort will center on another quality, affordable housing
subdivision along Bryant Avenue and plans for construction of a multi-story
retirement center on the campus.
The preliminary plans have been filed with the City of Oklahoma City and
approval is expected in the June timeframe. It is anticipated that our
investment in the revitalization of northeast Oklahoma City over the next
10 years will be in the range of $70-$100 Million..
